Coach Update:
Coach Andrews updated the club on the status. We are in the midst of a week break/rest. The next week practices will begin at 8:00am with lifting 45 minutes then follow up with individual meetings. The kicking games and speciality team work in the morning. 10:00 a.m. there will be break with breakfast/drink then back out on the field for approximately another 1 to 1.5 hrs. The students will likely be finished for the day after lunch. The coaches will work with the student looking at film with the students to show improvements.
Two TV games at Foley and McGill against Daphne have been announced for next season.
Coupon Books have been given out with each student getting 5 each. We are looking for each student to sell 5 each for $100 benefits. The lift-a-thon was a success with more than 15 kids lifting over 300 lbs. There has been an adjustment with Coach Andrews taking over in the weight-room. We believe the team is stronger than ever.
The coaches are working with the recreation coaches to begin to show them plays, drills for consistency in the program. We believe this will show enhancements in the program for years to come.
