Trojans Pre Season Looks Strong!!!
The football season is upon us and the Daphne Trojans are starting to put some final details into place. This year the team has a roster of 81 players with 27 of them returning seniors and 18 returning juniors.
Last Friday’s jamboree against Davidson definitely showed positive signs of the unity and strength a team of experienced returning players can have and their ability to control the field. Although official scores are not kept in this type of game, the end result did have the Trojans victorious over the Warriors.
The Trojan’s have worked hard during the off season with improvements to their strength training, endurance and speed workouts. Also, during the off season there were some personnel changes made to the coaching staff, and with that said, we would like to welcome Coach Sessions on board. All the coaches’ bios should be posted this week so you can learn more about Coach Session in his post.
Next week will be the start of the official 2010 season with the Daphne Trojans traveling to Bryant for a 7pm game. Most of us will be out there loud, proud and purple supporting our Trojans in their first game of the season.
